More Than Carpentry Christian Ministries exists to serve others because the Board of Directors, Staff, and other leadership of MTC are motivated to serve as a result of their callings as Christians, followers of Jesus Christ. Officers and staff of MTC subscribe to a statement faith, commonly known as the “Apostles’ Creed,” which has been affirmed by Christians living in many nations and cultures, speaking many languages, and throughout many centuries since the earliest generations of Christian believers. Whatever differences in specific theological beliefs may exist among individuals in leadership at MTC, we remain united with one another and with fellow Christians throughout the world and throughout generations as servants of Jesus Christ, our only Lord and Savior. Therefore, we affirm together:

We believe in God, the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,

and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy universal Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.
